Flow ID
Flow ID is the account you use across Flow. One sign-in works in every Flow app — the Flow game at flow.game (opens in new tab), chat at flow.talk (opens in new tab), and our other apps — so your username, profile, and progress follow you wherever you play. Flow ID is run by Flow Industries at id.flow.industries (opens in new tab).
Open Flow IDWhat Flow ID does
- Creates one Flow account, with the username, display name, and profile picture you choose.
- Signs you in to Flow apps without a password, using a passkey, a one-time code sent to your email, a Bluesky / AT Protocol account, or a Google account.
- Lets you manage your account in one place: sign-in methods, connected accounts, active sessions, security activity, and exporting or deleting your data.
Signing in with Google
“Continue with Google” is a sign-in option on the Flow ID sign-in page. Google shares your Google account ID, name, and email address with Flow ID, which uses them only to sign you in, to set up your Flow account the first time, and to show which Google account is connected. Flow ID asks Google only for basic sign-in permissions and cannot see your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or any other Google data. You can disconnect Google from your account page at any time.
Connecting GitHub
From your account page you can connect a GitHub account so Flow apps can work with your GitHub data when you ask them to — for example reading your repositories or creating and updating issues. Flow ID asks GitHub only for the permissions a feature needs, when it needs them, and shows every permission you have granted. Your GitHub token stays encrypted on Flow ID's servers and is never handed to apps or your browser. Disconnecting revokes it at GitHub.
Your data
The Privacy Policy explains exactly what Flow ID collects, including the data it receives from Google, GitHub, and Bluesky, and how to delete it. Use of Flow ID is covered by our Terms of Service. Questions: [email protected].
